Heartfelt Goldendoodles is looking for a few amazing Guardian Homes!

Thank You for your interest in becoming a Guardian Home for one of our puppies. This program is designed for families that would love to have one of our doodles, but can't afford the upfront cost. Our program is unique program for a family who lives in select areas of Texas, Alabama, and La-Grange Georgia area, to provide a loving home for one of our amazing puppies. We believe that all puppies should be in loving homes and not in kennels. This is a program that will help us to expand our breeding program and ensures that they are in loving homes with families as our dogs are raised in our home.

Have you always wanted a Heartfelt Goldendoodle but weren’t sure a breeding program was for you? Our program is a wonderful opportunity to welcome one of our exceptional dogs into your family.

As part of the program:

•  We cover all health testing and breeding-related expenses, including pregnancy and whelping care.
•  Your dog lives with you as a cherished member of your family.
•  We retain ownership until her breeding commitments have been fulfilled. Once those commitments are complete, full ownership is transferred to you.

Guardian families are responsible for:

• Providing a loving, forever home
• Routine veterinary care
•  Keeping your girl beautifully groomed and in excellent condition
•  Sending monthly photos and updates

Frequently Asked Questions

As a Guardian would I own the puppy? The guardian home would have custody of the puppy. It becomes your family and lives with you on a daily basis. We retain ownership of the puppy until the end of our agreement. At the end of the agreement the puppy will be signed over to you.

What costs will I be responsible for? The guardian will be responsible for routine veterinary care, grooming, high quality dog food, regular vaccines, heart worm, training, regular exercise and socialization, and a loving home.

What costs will Heartfelt be responsible for? Any costs relating to breeding and health testing.

What are the benefits of being a Guardian Family?

• The guardian family gets to have our pick of the litter puppy. This means we choose our breeding males and females that have a great temperament and high standard.
• The guardian puppy will be completely health tested prior to breeding at no cost to the guardian home.
• A guardian family gets to enjoy in the exciting times of breeding without any of the hard work. Enjoy lots of pictures of puppies and updates from our other families across the country and state.

What are the Requirements?

• You must live in select areas in Alabama, Texas, and Georgia. Families living outside these windows will be considered on a case by case basis.
• You must be available at times to transport the puppy to us for health testing and breeding. Sometimes with limited notice.
• You must have a house. Your home must have a fenced yard or an electronic fence.
• No intact males or females may live in or regularly visit your home during the guardian program.
• You must be willing to make the dog available for breeding during the heat cycle, or when he is needed for breeding.
• You must maintain open lines of communication for any matters of the dog.
